Advertisements return to Street Fighter V, now for a clothing brand

After annoying Street Fighter V players with a series of advertisements for Capcom Pro Tour, Capcom returned to bringing ads for the fighters’ clothing. Now, what the company is promoting is Uniqlo, a t-shirt maker that recently announced a special line based on the game.

This time, the developer decided to work in a slightly more subtle and less intrusive way than in the past. If before the advertisements were worn by the characters, now they appear only during the loading screens that precede the game’s matches.

There is an option to turn off Street Fighter V advertisements, but whoever chooses to view them will be rewarded with a small amount of Fight Money. The new Uniqlo line is now available in the United States, Europe and Japan, offering 12 prints based on both Street Fighter V and Street Fighter II.
