[HOT] : WHAT ARE ALL THE CONTRACTS, TASKS AND CHALLENGES, OPERATE FROM THE CRANE IN SNOWRUNNER

In this section of the guide SnowRunner, we will focus on the functioning of contracts, from tasks and challenges. These missions essentially consist of transporting resources from one point to another. Some missions require you to explore a specific location or to recover lost vehicles or trailers.

The contracts
Contracts represent the main missions in SnowRunner. You will find the list of available contracts from your menu (pictures1and2). These missions can be quite long and difficult.

You usually need to collect resources from a factory or warehouse, and then deliver them to the point indicated (pictures3and4). To make it easier for you at the start of your game, buy a flatbed trailer chassis module (picture5). It will be easier to haul the resources on this tray rather than dragging a trailer.

Note that some contracts can only be unlocked by completing a specific contract (picture6).

Tasks
The tasks correspond to secondary missions. To discover the tasks of an area, use a watchtower. As with contracts, you generally have to transport materials (pictures7and8). But other tasks are more accessible and simply require you to visit a specific place. If you can’t complete a contract, try doing a few things to make money and reputation a little easier.

Challenges
The challenges require you to complete a mission with a time constraint (pictures9and10). Other constraints can be added (finishing at night, carrying out the mission in cockpit view, etc.). By completing the challenge with the best time, you get the maximum amount of money and reputation as a reward (picture11).

On this page of our guide SnowRunner, we are going to focus on improvements.

The improvements allow you to modify your vehicles: for example, a higher suspension makes it easier to drive on roads in poor condition or to go off-road (picture1). Another example, installing a snorkel allows your vehicle to run in water (picture2).

Some improvements are unlocked by finding these objects during your explorations (picture3): the regions where you can find them are indicated by reading the description of the improvement. To learn more about exploring, see our Getting started in SnowRunner section.

IMAGE 3

Other improvements can only be unlocked if you increase your reputation (picture4). For this, you must chain the missions to gain reputation levels: see our section Contracts, tasks and challenges.

IMAGE 4

Note that the same improvement can be used for several vehicles. Also, if you are going to sell a vehicle, don’t forget to remove the installed upgrades first, otherwise they will be sold with the vehicle and you will have to buy them back.

CRANE OPERATION

To complete some missions you need to use a crane. This page of our guide SnowRunner explains how the crane.

First of all, you need to own a vehicle with a crane. You can buy a loading crane chassis module from the dealer from a garage (picture1).

IMAGE 1

An objective requiring the use of a crane is indicated by a check mark (picture2), as well as in the detail of the mission (picture3).

Position yourself near the cargo, open the “Functions” menu and select “Activate anchor” to stabilize the vehicle (picture4). Then press the “Crane mode” button to control the crane (picture5).

Move the crane to place it above the cargo (picture6), then press the “Secure cargo” button (picture7). If you see a cable appear, it means the cargo is secured.

IMAGE 7

All you have to do is lift the cargo and place it on the bed of your truck (picture8). Then exit crane mode and choose “Stack cargo” in the “Functions” menu (pictures9and10).

You can now drive to your destination. To deliver the cargo, you need to open the “Function” menu and select “Unpack cargo”.
