We probably can’t get any closer to becoming a space smuggler for a while.

Most motion-sensing controllers in VR sets almost shout after someone finally has a good lightsaber adventure with them, something that isn’t the focus of the music. Star Wars: Vader Immortal has already begun trying out the possibilities of crossing the far-far galaxy and virtual reality, but now another title is coming, in addition to the collaboration with the routine Oculus Studios.

The official announcement of Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge reads that the story of the game will take place between the time of the last Jedi and the age of Skywalker. The venue is the planet Batuu on the outskirts, including the Black Spire Outpost, a paradise for dubious elements fleeing the First Order, primarily smugglers.

The game is being developed by the ILMxLAB studio in collaboration with Oculus Studios (they are also responsible for Star Wars: Vader Immortal games). They promise to work on an adventure that will not only take advantage of VR technology, but will also provide a unique experience for players as the story will be shaped by our decisions. Well-known characters from the series will appear in the game, but we can also get to know new locations and characters.

What Star Wars adventure could you imagine?
