Among Us will have full localization for Brazilian Portuguese

Studio priority, however, is account system

The producer InnerSloth confirmed on Monday afternoon (23) that Among Us will be completely localized to Brazilian Portuguese.

The confirmation came through an update from the studio on the next contents that are under development for the game.

In addition to Brazilian Portuguese, you will receive updates for French, Italian, German, Spanish, Dutch, Russian, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean and Filipino.

The studio’s priority, however, is still the implementation of the account system to allow moderation of the game community.

“We want our space to be welcoming and respectful, so this is our first step in sabotaging toxicity and hacking,” wrote InnerSloth. There is still no arrival forecast for the updates.

Here’s the task list for us: English, French, Italian, German, Spanish EU and LA, Dutch, Russian, BR and EU Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, FIlipino (Bisaya).

The updates are part of InnerSloth’s effort to bring more features and content to Among Us – in late September, the producer announced that it would cancel plans to launch Among Us 2 to focus on improvements to the original game.

A new map should be officially revealed at The Game Awards.
