With Assassin’s Creed Origins and the sequel Odyssey, Ubisoft has brought several elements of the RPG to the series, elements that for some players have proved too invasive.

It seems however that in the new Assassin’s Creed Valhalla this will not be the case, in fact the game will take into account the overall power of the player (weapons and skills unlocked for example) and no more than the level as a number. If it is not clear to you then we report below the words of the creative director, Ashraf Ismail:

“Regarding the progression system and RPG elements, I would say that everything will be based more on the sense of power rather than the numerical level. You will gain power depending on the skills you unlock, it all depends on your skills and what you can do.”

He then added that the power will still be linked to a numerical value, however this will not be determined as in Odyssey and Origins (which we remember were essential to be able to start a mission or stealthily kill an enemy).

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X, PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
