Crystal Dynamics has a “humble” view of consumers and has preached the traditional purchase and use model it wants for the upcoming Marvel’s Avengers: go to a store, purchase the physical disc, put it on the console and play normally, without the need for if you are connected to the internet. These were the words of Scott Amos, leader of the studio, in an interview with GamesIndustry.

“We want someone to be able to buy a record and never have to go online,” he said. The executive also said that the entire game will be playable offline – including the DLCs released later. “You will have a complete and fun experience”, he pointed out.

The news that Marvel’s Avengers can be enjoyed completely offline had already been published here on Voxel.

The game will be released on May 15, 2020 for PS4, Xbox One and PC. Good news, huh? Comment on the subject below in the comments.
