Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War: Watch the Multiplayer Reveal live here

Today Activision introduces the multiplayer part of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.

“Probably the biggest streamers in the world meet with the developers at Treyarch and show you the latest Call of Duty multiplayer experience with new maps and modes in detail,” says the description of the upcoming live stream.

It starts today at 7 p.m. and you can watch it via the embedded YouTube video below.

The publisher officially presented Black Ops Cold War at a live event in Call of Duty Warzone at the end of August.

The latest installment in the shooter series takes you to the early 80s, where the game is supposed to combine elements of pop culture from that time with a “crazy conspiracy story” where deception and fraud are the order of the day.

You’ll end up in East Berlin, Turkey, Vietnam and Soviet-era Moscow as you work to prevent a conspiracy that has been planned for decades and to stop a mysterious figure named Perseus.

Together with Black Ops Cold War, Warzone will also continue to be supported and continued.

“Black Ops Cold War supports shared progress for Warzone and offers brand new inventory items that can be used in both Black Ops Cold War and Warzone,” said the press release announcing the game. “Warzone players will still have access to all Call of Duty Modern Warfare content, including any previously earned Operator and weapon blueprint.”

For the game, the publisher promises, among other things, cross-play on current and next-gen systems, cross-platform advances in all modes as well as a battle pass system and a “continuous offer of free content after publication”.

Black Ops Cold War will be released on November 13, 2020 for PS4, Xbox One and PC and will also be available at launch on the next-gen PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles.
