Yesterday, the Call of Duty 2020 finally it was revealed. The Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War reveal trailer was mainly focused on the campaign, under development at Raven Software, but we had details of the game as a whole.

GamesBeat reports that the game will support 120 FPS on next generation consoles (in addition to the PC), which should make for an even smoother experience than normal.

We want to make sure that the frame rate is responsive and that it looks like there is nothing technical preventing you from having fun.

The report also mentions perfect kinematics for gameplay transitions thanks to the next generation SSDs, support for the PlayStation 5 DualSense, global lighting with ray tracing and 3D audio.

The new Call of Duty will have a multiplayer reveal on September 9. COD: Black Ops Cold War will be released globally on the platforms of the current generation and PC November 13.
