Warzone Resurgence Ranked Meta – Season 2, Week 2…

Here are the best loadouts for Classified Resurgence. You may have to jump into Shipment and grind a few weapons, but it will be worth it for the SR.

We’re now in year five of Warzone and CoD’s BR has changed drastically since launch. The Covid casuals are gone and Activision is now targeting a more engaged fan base.

Much of this new direction for Warzone involves more competitive play, particularly a ranked mode. As you can see in the current playlist update, we now also have a ranked mode available for Resurgence, not just Battle Royale. On this page you can always find the best equipment to use for Classified Resurgence.

Since Resurgence plays on smaller maps, these loadouts will almost always involve a short-range option like an SMG, and a mid- or long-range option like an AR. Below you can find the best short and long term options available this week.

Meta Ranked Resurgence (Short Range) – RAM-7

You could still favor the HRM-9 for a slightly more stable and therefore easier to use weapon, but the RAM-9’s short-range TTK is hard to turn down. You can win shootouts that you absolutely shouldn’t be able to win, simply because the rate of fire is extremely high..

It must be said, however, it’s a strictly close-quarters SMGand so it may not be the best option if you are a more passive player trying to make engagements from a distance.

This version is currently used by most streamers, although we first saw it while watching Crowder (Atlanta FaZe coach). It’s disgusting in both Resurgence and Battle Royale, but as we mentioned before, it’s not one of those SMGs that you can also use at mid-range.

Ranked meta Resurgence (long range) – TAQ Evolvere

The TAQ Evolvere is undoubtedly the long-range meta, following the buff it received during the February 13 patch. At the moment the only question seems to be between using the 5.56 ammo with a higher fire rate and DPS, or the default 7.62 ammo which is slightly more controllable.

We use the 7.62 in our low recoil build and the 5.56 in our TTK focused build.

Low recoil/medium-long range TAQ Evolvere construction

This version is the easiest to use and requires virtually no recoil control on your part. But don’t worry, the TTK is still very powerful with this build, and you should be able to outperform almost every other weapon in the game.

We highly recommend the above version for Resurgence, but it would also work for Battle Royale (although BR is now much less popular than Resurgence so for many of you this won’t even be relevant).

For BR, you might consider using a sniper instead, although generally speaking we’re not convinced that snipers are worth using from Caldera.

Best TTK TAQ Evolvere Build / Mid Range

It is the TAQ Evolvere version which will give you the best possible TTKalthough we had to remove some recoil control attachments and optics (don’t worry, the iron sight is pretty nice).

This is an amazing TAQ Evolvere gear for Resurgence, but it won’t be as good for Battle Royale. Without recoil control accessories and optics, it will be difficult to take engagements at 50 yards or more.
