Justin Bieber can’t live without Carhartt (like pretty much everyone else these days)

Ξ News

About ten days ago, like many other weekends, Justin Bieber was seen in the streets of Los Angeles alongside his wife Hailey Bieber. As usual, the star pays little attention to the crackling flashes of the paparazzi. The dress code differs little from that of his latest releases: baggy pants and a pversoze t-shirt. This time however, the singer of Yummy has revealed something new: a retro zipped jacket from the Carhartt brand (which happens to be an affordable model and one that you probably have in your closet).

The brand founded in 1889 has lost none of its splendor. Although it still leans on its working-class roots, Carhartt has enjoyed meteoric success in recent years: walk through any trendy neighborhood in a big city and you’ll only see people wearing them. The recipe for its success? The label refuses exclusivity, is long-term and does not seek to stand out.

The popularity of Carhartt can also be explained by the longevity of the workwear trend. Its signature work jackets, also adopted by Justin Bieber, meet the expectations of most consumers. They look great and hold their own. Austin Butler was also won over. He loves his Carhartt jacket so much that he wore it for a year straight, just like Kit Connor, the star of the Netflix series Heartstopperwho donned hers to march at London Pride at the end of June.

The American brand exudes simplicity. Its pieces are indestructible, its discreet image and its minimalist aesthetic are aimed at all men who don’t like big logos and flashy prints. Men who appreciate heritage and well-established brands, with a lot of history, and without making a big deal.

The Canadian was one of the first to propel Crocs to the rank of fashion phenomenon, before the whole world adopted orthopedic shoes and Balenciaga decided to collaborate with the brand. Justin Bieber is also the biggest fan of baggy style among men. He also stands out for his unique eyewear choices and admires cult labels like Cherry LA – he also has his own brand, Drew. With Justin Bieber as its latest recruit, Carhartt’s crusade is not about to run out of steam.

Our readers love it too. :
