“Keep the date: In exactly 3 months, on 12/12/19, The Game Awards will be live from Los Angeles at the MS Theater. I can’t wait to tell you more about our fifth anniversary celebration,” says Keighley.

The fifth edition of the long-awaited award should bring several news about upcoming releases, presentation of new media content and unexpected announcements, so it is worth following and not only cheering for your favorites, but staying on top of what is to come, especially this being possibly the latest TGA without new generation consoles.

On December 6, 2018, The Game Awards were dominated by Naughty Dog’s God of War and Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption 2. The first was nominated for eight categories, winning Game of the Year. Also nominated for eight, Red Dead won for Best Narrative, Best Music, Best Audio Design and Best Performance (Roger Clark, Arthur Morgan actor).

There are no nominations yet, as many important titles are about to come out. However, 2019 is being another excellent year for the gamer community and the dispute to see who will take the awards home will be very fierce.
