Cyberpunk 2077 | Class system will give players a lot of freedom and flexibility
In preparation for the launch of Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt RED has put a lot of emphasis on how much freedom and flexibility the game offers players not only in terms of history, but also in terms of gameplay, and how it doesn’t.
Recently, while speaking in an interview with GamesRadar, producer Richard Borzymowski talked about this a little more. When asked if players will be channeled to a particular style of play, if they have invested a lot of time and improved on a certain skill, Borzymowski said the game would still offer enough freedom to go in any direction the player wishes.
“There is a lot of flexibility,” he said. “We are often mentioning these playing styles, right? Solo to play fast and strong, Netrunner and Techie. It’s not like you’re at one point in the game choosing one of these game styles – we’re just naming it that way. You can combine these things. You can build your character in a way that you can be terminator with a spider-bot. So, it all depends on the player. If you come to the conclusion that you don’t like shotguns and would rather hack people, go over there, develop some Netrunning skills and try if it’s best for you. “
Cyberpunk 2077 arrives on April 16 of next year for the PS4, Xbox One, PC and Stadia.
