Deep Silver Announces Agents of Mayhem, New From The Creators Of Saints Row

Volition is back with Agents of Mayhem, a new license in an epic open world, to be released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and on PC in 2017.

The developers of the acclaimed and successful Saints Row series have once again surpassed themselves and created their own universe of comic book heroes.

Meet the Agents of MAYHEM (Multinational Agency for Hunting Evil Masterminds or Multinational Agency for the Persecution of Evil Geniuses), a group of disparate and unique super agents, recruited from various countries around the world to thwart the destructive plans of the evil supervillain organization LEGION (League of Evil Gentlemen Intent on Obliterating Nations or League of Evil Knights bent on annihilating the Nations).

Its original plot, its extreme and highly personal open world gameplay mechanics and its peculiar world of superheroes make Agents of Mayhem a game worthy of Volition. This new title is part of the Saints Row universe, as it shares certain elements of the plot, symbolism and design reminiscences with the best-selling series. Agents of Mayhem represents the culmination of more than a decade of creativity and open-world experiences, thanks to the triple-A game studio’s ability to surprise, win over and hook players.

THE ARGUMENT

In a simultaneous worldwide attack, the LEGION has taken control of every country in the world and the only ones left to stop it are the MAYHEM agents. Led by the mysterious and no-nonsense Persephone Brimstone, MAYHEM’s elite superagents have to head to the city of Seoul, South Korea. The LEGION’s evil quartermaster, Dr. Babylon, and his fiendish lieutenants have set in motion a wicked plan to build an artifact that will change the world order and grant unquestionable power to the supervillain organization. To stop the LEGION and restore world order, MAYHEM agents will traverse an ever-growing urban battlefield from its foundations to the top floor and form a team of super agents to stop it at all costs.

The prospects for success are not very optimistic and the collateral damage will be significant, but it is up to the agents …
