Development The Walking Dead: The Final Season has officially resumed

The last episodes of The Walking Dead: The Final Season come out after all. Its development continues under another studio, Skybound Entertainment. Many employees of the former Telltale Games have been re-involved in the project.

In September it was announced that Telltale Games would close its doors. This while there were actually two more episodes planned for the final season of the Walking Dead adventure games. Uncertain times came for those who had already paid for all episodes.

It soon became clear that Skybound Entertainment would take over. This company was founded in 2010 by Robert Kirkman, the creator of The Walking Dead. Although it was announced today that work on the story of Clementine is continuing, release dates have not yet been released.

The Walking Dead: The Final Season is no longer for sale, but it is planned that this will change soon.
