The German Kickstarter project Everspace will also be released for Xbox One and in the Windows Store for Windows 10.

As Rockfish has announced, they have entered into a partnership with Microsoft that makes exactly this possible.

This will mark the game’s “console debut exclusively on Xbox One” and the Windows 10 version will be released at the same time as the Steam version.

The Xbox One version will be presented for the first time in March 2016 at the GDC in San Francisco.

“Since the current PC pre-alpha version already runs very smoothly on a mid-range gaming PC without optimization, the aim for the console version on Xbox One is also a smooth gaming experience in full brilliance with real Full HD resolution,” says it.

It was also confirmed that gamepad support can be “fully implemented” on the PC, as well as an “ultra-hard hardcore mode” with permadeath and “other unpleasant surprises”.

Everspace is scheduled for release in Q4 2016.
