Expect more PlayStation exclusives on PC

  • Sony brings more first-party games to PC
  • Horizon: Zero Dawn was just the beginning
  • No specific games confirmed yet

Sony would like to bring more of its previously PlayStation exclusive titles to the PC.

In a new annual report, among other things, the future of the PlayStation division is mentioned. And in addition to the PlayStation 5, it also contains the information that more games are coming to the PC.

“We will consider releasing more of our first-party titles on PC to help us grow our profitability,” it said.

It is unclear which titles could follow the already published Horizon: Zero Dawn and whether Sony like Microsoft could rely on a simultaneous release on PS5 and PC.

“I think it’s important that we stay open to new ideas in order to introduce more people to the PlayStation brand and show them what they may have been missing,” said Hermen Hulst, director of PlayStation Worldwide Studios March to Horizon on PC.

He also stated at the time: “And to calm a few minds: Just because we are releasing a first-party triple-A title for PC doesn’t necessarily mean that every game will now also be available for PC. We don’t have any Simultaneous release plans and we continue to focus 100 percent on dedicated hardware. “

It remains to be seen whether this statement will remain in the future.

Aloys open world adventure had and still has to struggle with technical problems on the PC, today the new patch 1.03 for the PC version of Horizon: Zero Dawn was released.
