Far Cry New Dawn: The World Compared to Far Cry 5

The Far Cry New Dawn announced as part of the Game Awards sends you back to Hope County, known from Far Cry 5.

The landscape has changed radically 17 years after a global nuclear disaster.

Likewise, you face a new threat. “The twins” Mickey and Lou make life difficult for you together with the Highwaymen.

Prepare to face this threat in Prosperity, the fortress of survivors. Among other things, you will manufacture makeshift weapons and vehicles and train your helpers and four-legged friends.

The base is the starting point of your expeditions, which will take you to different places in the USA, for example in swamps or canyons. There you collect resources and then make your way back to Prosperity.

A new video shows how the worlds of the two games look in comparison. On the one hand, you recognize the blooming landscapes from Far Cry 5. In New Dawn, on the other hand, everything looks barren, overgrown and destroyed. The color scheme is different.

The game will be released on February 15, 2019 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
