Final Fantasy 7 Remake: this is how much the game will weigh

Square Enix has repeatedly stated that every single episode of Final Fantasy 7 Remake (the title will be sold in 3 parts) would have lasted coke a single exponent from the saga, in fact at a first analysis it seems that this promise has been kept, if we consider the weight of the first chapter.

In fact, the first part of the work will weigh about 100GB, an important number if we consider that in the original version the part concerning Midgar (ie the one that covers this first chapter) lasted about 5-6 hours.

Due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic, Square Enix has decided to ship copies of the game in advance (to Australia and some European countries), in order to avoid any delays. This means that some users already have the game in their hands. The user @RedMakuzawa has in fact posted on Twitter some images of his physical copy of the game (it is the Deluxe Edition), with which we discover that the game will require at least 100GB of free space.

Of course, a game that is heavy in terms of space required does not necessarily transform it into a game rich in content, however it is now clear that we are not talking about a product to be completed in a few hours.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake will be available on PS4 starting April 10.
