Fortnite Battle Royale is temporarily getting 50v50 mode

In Fortnite Battle Royale there is currently a new mode playable in which two teams of 50 people compete against each other. The mode is only available temporarily until December 17. After that there will be a number of other temporary modes.

Players from your own team can be recognized by a symbol above their heads. In addition, in 50v50 mode, it is not possible to injure teammates with splash damage. It is not yet known which temporary modes we can expect after December 17.

Developer Epic Games also announces that the game has already been played by more than 30 million people, with a peak of 1.3 million simultaneous players. In October, the game also got new cosmetics and potions in the Fortnite Battle Royale Halloween update.
