Much has been said since the official announcement of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Breakpoint about his map. Mismatched information about the size of the scenario that can be explored has confused many players, but a new interview with the game’s creative director gives a sense of what to expect from the new game’s map.
In an interview with the DualShockers website, Ghost Recon: Breakpoint creative director Eric Couzian was asked about the size of the game’s map and whether it can be compared to the latest Far Cry. Couzian said he would not compare the island of Breakpoint with that of Far Cry, at least in its size, but that the map must be as large as that of Ghost Recon: Wildlands.

This contradicts the information provided by PlayStation Blog during the game’s announcement, which stated that the game’s map will be “much larger than that of Wildlands”. Between Sony’s social media and Breakpoint’s creative director, it is possible to say that the person involved as the title’s creative director knows more about him.
We’ll know exactly whether the map will be larger or not than the Wildlands map on October 4, when Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Breakpoint arrives on PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4.
