Ghost Recon: Breakpoint has new trailer and open Beta announced

Ubisoft has announced that Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, a new chapter in the franchise created by Tom Clancy, will have an open beta period for everyone to try it out before its release. The announcement was made through a new live action trailer directed by the director of “Deadpool” and with the participation of rapper Lil Wayne.

The trailer comes along with the announcement that the Breakpoint open beta will take place on PS4, Xbox One and PC from September 26th to 29th, with the possibility to download the trial version in the platform stores from the 24th.

The open beta will bring content that was not available in the closed phase, including three story missions, two new regions, called New Argyll and Infinity, and will give you the chance to participate in elimination matches in the game’s PvP mode, called Ghost War. , four special maps for the mode, called PMC Camp, Port, Cold War Bunker and Harbor, will be made available.

The trailer, directed by David Leitch, from “Deadpool 2” and the first “John Wick”, doesn’t exactly show the open beta, but it features rapper Lil Wayne trying to play a multiplayer game, but always distracting himself and harming his teammates. The difference is that everything is done with actors instead of gameplay, which makes things a little more interesting from a cinematic point of view. It’s kind of boring, but it’s worth the joke at the end.

Ghost Recon: Breakpoint will be released for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on October 4th. The game is also expected to launch for Google Stadia in November.
