Ghost Recon Breakpoint second in the UK with sales well below those in Wildlands

The list of best-selling games in UK physical stores has yet to be presented, but advance information confirms second place for Ghost Recon Breakpoint.

Ubisoft’s new game and one of its biggest releases in 2019, reached second place in the list of the best-selling games in the UK, but followed the trend and revealed lower sales than the previous one.

According to shared by Christopher Dring on Twitter, Breakpoint sold a fifth of what Wildlands sold on its debut, in UK physical stores, in March 2017 – a month marked by the heavyweight debut.

Ghost Recon: Wildlands took first place in the UK in its opening week and became the best debut of the year so far, beating games like Horizon Zero Dawn and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint was not so lucky and the increase in the digital ratio may help to make up for some of this difference, but that data has not been officially revealed.
