Ghost Recon: Breakpoint will not be available on Steam, but on the Epic Games Store

During the afternoon of yesterday the new Ghost Recon: Breakpoint. During the presentation we saw a trailer, an extensive gameplay and the official presentation of the Wolves Collector’s Edition. As if all this were not enough, the release date of Breakpoint: The 4 Oct 2019 coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Now we know that on the PC platform it will not come to Steam, but to Uplay and the Epic Games Store.

Another Ubisoft Game Leaving Steam

Like The Division 2, another video game from Ubisoft’s Tom Clancy’s family leaves Steam and bets on the Epic Games Store. Ghost recon breakpoint It will only be available in its official store, Uplay, and in the Epic Games Store. Breakpoint joins the list of games that are leaning towards the Epic store and leaving Steam, see the case of Metro Exodus and Rocket Legue, for example.

This trend has generated different controversies. Among the most popular are those of Metro Exodus, which caused Metro 2033 and Last Light’s scores to drop due to misuse of voting, and Rocket Legue. Steam has been forced to create a system so that negative votes unrelated to the quality of the game affect the final score.
