Halo 5 E3 Trailer Showcases First Single Player Gameplay

343 Industries presents the first gameplay footage of the Halo 5: Guardianscampaign at Microsoft’s E3 press conference. In it, the developer shows the online co-op, a new weapon and a new type of enemy.

Fireteam Osiris is central to the mission shown. This is the group of Spartans who hunt the Master Chief and Blue Team. The mission takes place on Sanghelios, the home planet of the Elites. The team is looking for the Master Chief when one of the mysterious Guardians appears.

One of the new weapons that Locke (the other main character) uses to fight his enemies is the Plasma Caster. New faces can also be found in the ranks of the opponents. Halo 4’s Prometheans make another appearance, this time with a new soldier class.

343 Industries will also show a Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer trailer during E3. This shows the new Warzone mode.

Halo 5: Guardians will be released October 27, exclusively on Xbox One.
