Halo Infinite is the “beginning of the next 10 years of Halo”
The future will bring a lot of news to Halo Infinite
THE 343 Industries finally revealed the campaign’s gameplay for Halo Infinite, promising to show the multiplayer in more detail in the future. While maintaining the same feeling as the Halo series, it is quite obvious that the next game is a new start for the franchise. The head of the studio, Chris Lee, spoke with IGN and said it was the “beginning of our platform for the future”.
“We want Infinite to grow over time, instead of going to these numbered titles and having all this segmentation that we had before. It is really about creating Infinite as the beginning of the next ten years for Halo and then building it as we move forward with our fans and community. ” So don’t expect Halo Infinite 2 at some point in the future. Of course, this does not mean that Halo is heading in the direction of live service with this change.
While new stories will be told, there will also be updates to the visuals over time, such as a free update that adds ray tracing after launch. And, of course, multiplayer should see new modes and maps over time, although we will have to wait for more details from 343 Industries about this.
Infinite is scheduled to arrive this year for the Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC.
