Has Amazon Mexico leaked the Red Dead Redemption 2 release date?

Thanks, Amazon! The Mexican branch of this gigantic webshop may have leaked the date of Red Dead Redemption 2. Rockstar just hasn’t confirmed anything yet, which makes sense, so take this with a grain of salt.

One of the biggest games to be released this year is without a doubt Red Dead Redemption 2. The sequel to the great open world Western from 2010, which should have been released last year in the fall. We knew Rockstar’s new major game was scheduled for release this year, but no exact date was announced.

Until now as Amazon Mexico has published a release date on their page. According to the webshop, Red Dead Redemption 2 should be released on July 12. Of course Rockstar has not released anything yet, so it may well be that the date is not correct. Apparently Bol.com tweeted a while ago that Red Dead Redemption 2 should be released on March 31. This tweet has long since been deleted, but the internet never forgets and documents everything! But if we had to choose between these two dates, Amazon’s does sound more realistic. Although it is true that this no longer falls in the spring, which is the season in which the game is released, according to Rockstar.

If we are to believe the rumor, we can re-enter the Wild West in 174 days in a brand new creation from Rockstar Games. Isn’t it okay? GTA V is super cool, but now also four years old. We are ready for something new!
