Here is the cheaper Blade 15 gamertoptop from Razer

The new Razer Blade 15 Base Edition has a lot to offer in terms of key specifications, but it also requires very serious trade-offs.

The Razer also offers several very compact 15-inch gamer laptops, but these are terribly expensive. The manufacturer also wanted to make something cheaper for the holidays, so now it has introduced the Razer Blade 15 Base Edition. It “only” costs $ 1499.99, so it’s not too cheap either. Plus, it requires terribly painful compromises.

Compared to the “cheap” model, the good news is the presence of an Intel Core i7-10750H CPU, 16GB of DDR4-2933 RAM, a 120Hz, 1080p panel, as well as the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti GPU. The 256GB NVMe SSD is still affordable, luckily it will fit in with another drive.

However, a big setback:

  • the 60.8 Wh battery
  • is that the Thunderbolt 3 connector is gone
  • and the Ethernet port as well
  • there is no Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth is only 5.0

The new model is cheaper, but not so much that customers are happy to give it up. Deliveries, however, will in principle begin later this year.
