Here’s the expensive but new MacBook Air and Mac mini

The Retina display, the revamped MacBook Air, and the astronomy Mac mini have also become muscular – none of them are cheap.

Apple revived the MacBook Air when it unveiled its updated super-flat laptop yesterday afternoon. The old model offered a poor display, too low a resolution, and poor performance, but the successor did not have to compromise.

The new MacBook Air is rumored to have a Retina display, and the coffee is 50 percent thinner. The 13.3-inch display extends almost to the edge of the housing, and the machine has two USB-C ports and even a jack. The new model is lighter than the old one.

For secure logins, the laptop also offers a Touch ID powered by the already known T2 chip. Touch Bar isn’t on it, which most people are really happy about. It’s basically a modernized MacBook Pro in a MacBook Air robe. It has also got a third-generation keyboard, meaning you no longer have to worry about the mistakes of the last two years.

The new MacBook Air offers eight-generation, 2-core Intel processors with integrated graphics, up to 16GB of RAM and a 1.5TB SSD. The management of an external 5K display or eGPUs is also solved. The basic model will include 8 GB of RAM, a 1.6 GHz Core i5 CPU and a 128 GB SSD for HUF 474,990. The new MacBook Air is made from 100 percent recycled aluminum.

The Mac mini has also been revamped

The Mac mini has finally been updated, for the first time since 2014. Apple’s new 4-core, eighth-generation Intel processors are upgraded, but even a 6-core Core i7 is available on request. The Mac mini can hold up to 64GB of RAM with 2TB of flash storage. The T2 security chip isn’t missing from here either, there are straight out of Thunderbolt 3 ports. It also has HDMI, Ethernet, USB-A ports. There aren’t many changes to the exterior, apart from the astronomy color and the 100 percent recycled aluminum housing.

The starting price of the new Mac mini is HUF 314,990, which means that it is not exactly cheap. That’s why it comes with a 4-core Core i3 CPU, 8GB of RAM and a 128GB SSD.
