The bar offers a black PCB while being able to offer a capacity of 16 GB x2. Its frequency is calibrated at 4800 MHz under a voltage of 1.1 Volt and timings of 40-40-40-77. We find a setting that meets the standard specifications defined by the JEDEC association around DDR5.

One of the advances of DDR5 over DDR4 is the transfer of power management to the bar. This change is visible with the presence of an additional power management integrated circuit (PMIC). We also have the integration of ECC (error correction code) protection.

TeamGroup specifies that its Elite U-DIMM DDR5 module is intended for Intel 600 series motherboards with DDR5 compatibility. These solutions will accompany the launch of Alder Lake on the LGA 1700 socket.

This Elite DDR5-4800 MHz CL40 2x16GB from TEAMGROUP is priced at $ 399.99.
