[HOT] : DDR5, TeamGroup lance ses modules Elite DDR5-4800 MHz 2x16Go

TeamGroup is one of the very first memory manufacturers to market a DDR5 memory module. Named Elite U-DIMM DDR5, the beautiful will be available by the end of the month.
The race around DDR5 has been on for several weeks now. The different players are positioning themselves and TeamGroup scores a point. Through a press release, the manufacturer announces the official launch of the world’s first DDR5 memory module. The U-DIMM format is intended for desktop computers. However, we will still have to wait because no consumer platform is able to use it. Its availability for purchase is scheduled for the end of June and the beginning of less than July.

The bar offers a black PCB while being able to offer a capacity of 16 GB x2. Its frequency is calibrated at 4800 MHz under a voltage of 1.1 Volt and timings of 40-40-40-77. We find a setting that meets the standard specifications defined by the JEDEC association around DDR5.
One of the advances of DDR5 over DDR4 is the transfer of power management to the bar. This change is visible with the presence of an additional power management integrated circuit (PMIC). We also have the integration of ECC (error correction code) protection.
TeamGroup specifies that its Elite U-DIMM DDR5 module is intended for Intel 600 series motherboards with DDR5 compatibility. These solutions will accompany the launch of Alder Lake on the LGA 1700 socket.
