Like last year, Mojang Studios is meeting Minecraft players for the 2021 edition of its Minecraft Live, and allows them to vote for the next mob to be implemented.

The 2020 edition of Minecraft Live had taken place entirely in digital format due to the health situation due to COVID-19, it will unfortunately be the same for this 2021 edition. This year, the studio made an appointment with its community on Saturday October 16 at 5 p.m., French time, for Minecraft Live. Of course, it will be available on the usual platforms like YouTube and Twitch.

Once again, players will be involved and will be able to vote on the social network Twitter to choose the next creature to join the cubic world that is Minecraft. Among them, we find the Glare, a floating bush with a pair of eyes.

Its particularity is to alert players when the light level is too low, and monsters appear. When one of them will be near the players, he “will throw a fit”, according to the studio, to warn them of his presence. However, skeletons, zombies and creepers only appear in the dark, whether at night or in caves.

At last, Minecraft Live will also be an opportunity to learn more about update 1.18 of Minecraft, and to discover more fully the new features to come by the end of the year.
