[HOT] : Safari 15.1 returns its old tabs to macOS Big Sur

Safari 15.1 is available for macOS 10.15 Catalina and macOS 11 Big Sur users, just over a month after Safari 15 was released for these two systems. As on macOS 12 Monterey, Apple has gone back to the presentation of tabs: they are no longer presented in the form of buttons and resume their classic rectangular presentation. The compact interface is always available as an option in browser preferences.

This rollback only concerns macOS Big Sur, macOS Catalina users having remained on the old presentation with Safari 15. This update is however well proposed on macOS Catalina and it is advisable to install it, since it “includes security improvements and fixes problems.”
