If you fly by plane and play Flight Simulator making that journey, will the real and virtual plane arrive at the same time? Someone has tried

Developer Rami Ismail is one of the titans behind the sadly defunct Vlambeer studio. A video game genius with brutal gifts and a love for the environment that, most likely, cause situations like the one experienced with Microsoft Flight Simulator.

During one of the many flights he takes to attend business meetings and lectures, he used his latest great hobby to conduct experiment It seems incredible that it had not already been done – at least publicly.

The idea was to get on a flight and make the same journey in Flight simulator to see to what extent the simulator lived up to its genre and was close to reality. A journey that was narrating on Twitter in the following thread.

Apparently the experiment was a success And, despite not having all the data of his flight to try to adjust to the maximum options such as altitude, speed or wind direction, Ismail went from being about four minutes behind the real flight to landing in the game four minutes before for the plane to touch down.

One more sample of the spectacular work done by Asobo Studio to shape Microsoft Flight Simulator. Undoubtedly the definitive proof of to what extent, now without a doubt and as we mentioned a few lines above, it honors its genre.
