During Sony’s State of Play event, Capcom unveiled the first trailer for the Monster Hunter World Iceborne expansion, which gained a lot of unpublished details, new monsters and many other sensational new features, including the release date: September 6, 2019 on PS4 and Xbox One. The PC version will arrive at the end of the year, but without a date yet.
Two new monsters have been shown, one that looks like a moose and another that is called Velkhana, which appears to be an unprecedented ancestral dragon. Nargacuga shows up again, but no details have been revealed (we still don’t know if it will be a free DLC for the game). Check out the trailer:
Capcom will be holding its own event in a little while, at 8 pm GMT, and will show more news from Iceborne, from Monster Hunter World.
Monster Hunter World is available for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. The Iceborne expansion will arrive on September 6, 2019.
