Microsoft adapts its game Psychonauts 2 to the Mac

It’s rare enough to be noticed: Microsoft-owned studio Double Fine has released the macOS and Linux version of Psychonauts 2! The title, released last summer on Xbox, PS4 and PC, is an excellent platform/action game full of funny inventions. It can be downloaded from the Mac App Store for €59.99. Those who already have a Steam key will be able to grab the Mac (or Linux) version for free.

To enjoy it, you will need a machine running macOS 10.14 and a little space on the hard drive, the game indeed weighs a little over 32 GB. This is good news for players on our platform, who could already play to Psychonauts 2 through Game Pass Ultimate. It is not common for Microsoft to adapt its “first party” games on macOS1 so let’s not spoil our pleasure!

The 3D platform game developed by Double Fine Productions is finally available also for macOS users, optimized for the Apple Silicon platform.
