Microsoft announces Xbox Game Pass, a flat fee for games that could change everything

Microsoft has just announced the arrival of Xbox Game Pass, a new subscription service that will begin to be active from next April. Be very careful with this because it will give us unlimited access to more than 100 Xbox One games and backwards compatible games from the Xbox 360 catalog.

The service will be priced at 9.99 euros per month and will be activated automatically during this afternoon to some of the members of the Xbox Insider program. It should be noted that we will have access to these more than 100 games as long as we are subscribed to the program.

What will happen to Xbox Live Gold? Absolutely nothing because they will be independent services. Among the titles that have been promised for release are games such as: Banjo-Kazooie, Gears of War: Judgment, Sunset Overdrive, Halo: Spartan Assault, Dark Void, WWE 2K16, Borderlands, BioShock, BioShock 2, BioShock Infinite.

There will be no time or download limit. Of course, if we want to buy a game to be ours, we can take advantage of a 20% discount in the store. For his part, Phil Spencer has stated that the catalog will not only have Microsoft games, but that it will increase with third party games. At the moment they have confirmed their presence: 2K, 505 Games, Bandai Namco Entertainment, Capcom, Codemasters, Depp Silver, Focus Home Interactive, Sega, SNK, THQ Nordic and Warner Bros.
