Microsoft has finally revealed the official system requirements for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

According to the specs, PC gamers will at least need an AMD Ryzen 3 1200 or Intel i5 4460 CPU. In addition, they will need at least 8GB of RAM, 150GB of free hard drive space and a 5Mbps internet connection.

Microsoft has listed AMD Radeon RX 570 and NVIDIA GTX770 as minimum GPUs. However, the team recommends using an AMD Radeon RX 590 or NVIDIA GTX 970. It is also recommended that you have a 20 Mbps internet connection.

Ideally, Microsoft Flight Simulator will require an Intel i7 9800X or an AMD Ryzen 7 Pro 2700X. 32GB of RAM is also listed as an “ideal” requirement, with the game installed on an SSD. Microsoft mentions an NVIDIA RTX2080 and an AMD Radeon VII as ideal GPUs for running the game. Finally, the team lists a 50 Mbps internet connection.

There is currently no precise release date for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
