Minecraft receives its latest update on various consoles

4J Studios, the developer in charge of the console versions of Minecraft, has released the latest update for several of its versions.

Playstation 3, Wii U, Xbox 360 and Vita are the consoles that are left out of the future content and patches of the game. This latest version is already available in 360 and will reach the rest of the platforms in the next few hours.

The patch notes are identical for all platforms:

  • Added the Nightmare Before Christmas pack
  • Fixed a crash occurring near snowy areas
  • Fixed barrier crash at tutorial level
  • Fixed a crash that occurred when TNT destroyed a Pole and a Shulker Box

As we pack up our Xbox 360, PS3, PSVita and WiiU development kits, we’re getting all nostalgic?
