Monitor your Mac and notify you via Growl of changes in your system

This program is very useful when we want to be informed to the maximum of almost everything that happens on our Mac. Observation Post will notify us, via Growl, of any change on Bonjour, our local network, USB and FireWire devices, volumes, files, folders and smart folders.

Growl, for those of you who do not know it, it is a software for show screen notifications, in a floating window plan, which can be customized. It is installed in the preferences panel and it is widely used by different types of programs (like Adium, for example) …

Back to Observation Post, I have been testing it and I liked it a lot, for example, to see if someone else connects to our Bonjour network, among other things.

Of course, the icon has its joke: they have drawn a pole (“post” in English can be translated by post or post) … with two eyes. Anyway, universal, free and highly recommended.
