Barely two weeks after its official launch on Steam, MultiVersus already has a significant range of characters with well-defined roles and all from a variety of licenses. From Scooby-Doo to Game of Thrones to DC Comics, there’s something for everyone…

Prestigious characters to come in MultiVerse?

According to the datamining of the person behind this account, a total of 19 characters would be present in the game files. Well… Not quite. According to him, the overwhelming majority of the 19 characters he would have discovered would be indicated as “enemies” or “adversaries”, implying that they are destined to become playable sooner or later.

If we do not know to date which ones he thinks are supposed to join the MultiVersus Roster soon, we know the identity of the 19 potentially eligible and already datamined characters. Of course, all this information is to be taken with great tweezers, and we do not know to this day all the skills that these hypothetical fighters could have:

  • beetle juice (Beetlejuice)
  • black adam (DC Comics)
  • Craig (Craig of the Creek)
  • Daenerys Targaryen (Game Of Thrones)
  • Daphne Blake (Scooby-Doo)
  • emmet (Lego)
  • Gandalf (The Lord of the Rings)
  • Godzilla (MonsterVerse)
  • The Wicked Witch (The Wizard of Oz)
  • The Joker (DC Comics)
  • Marvin the Martian (Looney Tunes)
  • Eleven (StrangerThings)
  • poison ivy (DC Comics)
  • raven (DC Comics)
  • Robin (DC Comics)
  • sandor Cleganethe Bloodhound (Game of Thrones)

MULTIVERSUS: A STRANGER THINGS CHARACTER SOON AVAILABLE?

The MultiVersus roster is already full and will grow in the coming weeks. While we know Rick and Morty will arrive in August, plenty of other characters have leaked lately, giving potential clues as to which fighters will be joining the battlefield in the near future. All are obviously from licenses belonging to Warner Bros, publisher of the game, via its subsidiary established in video games. Nevertheless, a first crossover, to implement a character from a separate license could see the light of day.

STRANGER THINGS SOON IN MULTIVERSUS?

The game files indicate the presence of many characters to come, including Eleven, heroine of the series Stranger Things. If the other names are not surprising, this one is a little more, since it is the Netflix platform that owns the license rights. Nevertheless, we could very well have the right here to a crossover between MultiVersus and Stranger Things, with the aim of bringing one (or more) character, namely Eleven for the moment.

Something that is not impossible knowing that Netflix has multiplied partnerships with video games, especially for its flagship series, with an appearance in Fortnite and Dead by Daylight, to name a few.

The information is obviously to be taken with tweezers, but the MultiVersus roster could well see the arrival of characters from outside Warner Bros., especially if the success of the fighting game is confirmed over time.

Don’t rule out Stranger Things coming to Multiversus.

A new wave of leaks has left a flood of news that could be coming to Multiversus. Most of these announcements come from the title’s data mining, which has already shown that Robin skins for Lebron James and Wonder Woman movie skins for the character of Diana Prince are coming. But it’s not just about skins – many of these additions are references to wrestlers.

There are notably Raven and Robin from Teen Titans, Scooby-Doo, Gizmo and Stripe from Gremlins, Beetlejuice and even Daenerys from Game of Thrones, but that’s not all. A peculiarity that gives it more relevance is that even the data mining extracted an audio file of Raven played by Tara Strong in her original version, which is the one that gives voice to the DC character and also to Harley Quinn in the game. It is from this last piece of information that an interesting new theory emerges.

And the data directly indicates that Eleven, one of the central characters of Stranger Things, will be making an appearance in the title, which doesn’t seem odd considering that Netflix is pretty crossover-prone with its IP, which has already appeared in FarCry6 and with fairly specific rumors that also associate it with Dead by Daylight and Fortnite.
