Patch Halo: The Master Chief Collection postponed

343 Industries has a major patch for it Halo: The Master Chief Collection postponed to later this week. It was first planned for Wednesday. The Halo compilation has had many problems since its launch on November 11th, such as an online component that barely works.

“We are delaying the patch to add some additional fixes,” said 343 Industries in a post on the studio’s forum. “More information about it will be online a little earlier.”

Halo: The Master Chief Collection has more bugs. The single player mode randomly skips levels, progress is sometimes not remembered, the game occasionally crashes and some gamers indicate that the game just won’t start for them. Online multiplayer also does not work more often than it does.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection has been available for Xbox One since November 11. The bundle includes all the single-player and multiplayer content from Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2, Halo 3 and Halo 4. Halo 2 also received an Anniversary makeover, including six remade multiplayer maps. A fixed release date for the next patch has not yet been set.
