Path of Exile announced for Xbox One

Grinding Gear Games has announced that Path of Exile is coming to Xbox One throughout 2017.

As on PC, its download will be completely free. The Microsoft console port will include all the content of the PC version, as well as the 3.0.0 expansion that includes Act 5.

Xbox One users will play in a separate realm from PC users. According to the developers this is due to the fact that there are small playable changes between both versions, such as the number of slots for flasks or the use of some skills.

Chris Wilson, co-founder of Grinding Gear Games, explained that “for three years PC users have enjoyed Path of Exile’s visceral combat, deep character customization, and addictive item hunting.”

“We have spent almost a year adapting Path of Exile specifically for Xbox One, creating an experience equivalent to playing with keyboard and mouse on PC.”
