Path of Exile Echoes of the Atlas Expansion Coming Next Week on PC

Grinding Gear Games has dated the Echoes of the Atlas expansion for Path of Exile.

This new content for the veteran action-RPG was scheduled for December 11, but the developer chose to delay it to move away from the launch of Cyberpunk 2077.

The expansion will add different types of content to the game, including new objects, a new passive skill tree, 11 new maps with their final bosses, as well as new challenges in which we will have to face several bosses at the same time.

Chris Wilson, head of the studio, has acknowledged in an interview with PC Gamer that the sequel announced at the end of 2019 will probably arrive at least in 2022.

As he explained, the impact of Covid-19 is undermining their ability to hire people, since New Zealand’s borders are currently closed and it is difficult for them to increase the pace of development to the level they would like.

Path of Exile: Echoes of the Atlas will arrive on PC on January 15 and on consoles on January 20.
