Phil Spencer wants to release original Xbox games on the PC
Phil Spencer has announced that he would like to see original Xbox games and the Game Pass service on PC.
His wish is to bring Xbox emulation to PC. “There is work to be done, but I think it is in our future,” said Spencer. The hardware of the original Xbox is very similar to a PC.
When asked if the Game Pass service is coming to the PC, he replies as follows: ‘I definitely want to bring Game Pass to the PC. It’s a model that works well for developers, and that means good content for gamers too. I like that. ‘
Spencer’s desire to do this is not a promise, however. He even admits that his team “doesn’t like it when I make advance announcements like this.” Find more E3 2017 news in our ever-expanding news overview.
