PlayStation 4 patch adds PS4 Pro Boost Mode
Sony has announced that patch 4.50 for the PlayStation 4 can be downloaded from March 9. The update adds, among other things, Boost Mode for the PlayStation 4 Pro.
The patch also introduces the ability to play PS4 games from an external hard drive. This hard drive can be between 250 GB and 8 TB in size. The update also makes it possible to set screenshots as wallpaper.

Another new feature allows you to create GIFs from gameplay footage. Patch 4.50 also gives you the option to watch 3D Blu-rays with your PlayStation VR headset.
Sony has previously announced that the PlayStation 4 Pro will get a Boost Mode. This mode increases the frame rate of games that have not received a special PS4 Pro patch. According to Sony, Boost Mode also improves loading times of specific games.
