PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X should arrive in late November, according to CDPR

Game was postponed again yesterday, the 18th

O Cyberpunk 2077 is among the most anticipated games of 2020 since its initial release date, revealed in June 2019. The game has been postponed twice, the last being yesterday, the 18th.

While the delay for November 19 was probably a surprise to many fans, fortunately the game is still on its way to launch in 2020, according to CD Projekt Red. This delay is undoubtedly a very smart move for the team. In a recent conversation with investors, the team confirmed that players will be able to play the game on the first day, when the next generation of consoles is released. This means that the next generation of consoles is likely to be launched towards the end of November.

The investor conversation confirmed and clarified several different things that the media and players were curious about. On the one hand, the game arrives on PS4, Xbox One X, PS5 and Xbox Series X on the first day. Interestingly, the next generation versions of the game will look better than the last generation versions on the first day. Finally, the team clarified that the delay was not the result of COVID, but even more so because this last stretch of development was particularly demanding.

Cyberpunk 2077 launches November 19 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, with the Stadia and Xbox Series X versions also in development.
