Classy but dispensable?
. The controller in question is exclusively reserved for iPhone users. The design is extremely close to that of a DualSense despite the arrival of asymmetrical sticks a bit like an Xbox controller. Apart from this specificity, all the usual keys are in the game.
This mobile app requires a connection of at least 5 Mb/s and a PlayStation console nearby. Indeed, it is only a remote play and not a Cloud gaming service strictly speaking. So there’s no need to expect to play on the go with this Backbone One – PlayStation Edition.
The controller will still cost 119.99 euros.

A Backbone controller from Sony
Small detail that is important: the Backbone One – PlayStation Edition is only compatible with iPhones. If you play on Android, it is possible for you to orient yourself towards the Backone One for Android, which does not display the colors of the PS5.
If the design of this accessory is reminiscent of that of the DualSense, the PS5 controller, many players have noticed asymmetric joysticks, and it’s not to everyone’s taste. On our side, this controller does not fail to make us think of the Razer Kishi V2 of which it takes the principle.
The controller does not include a battery since it is powered directly by iPhone. It can modulate its size depending on the terminal and it has a Lightning connector.
What price for the Backbone One – PlayStation Edition?
The Backbone One – PlayStation Edition is already available for sale on the Backbone website, at the price of €119.99. This accessory comes with a 3-month trial at Discord Nitro and a 1-month trial at Apple Arcade

The colors, materials and finishes are inspired by the design of the DualSense wireless controller of the PS5 console, from the transparent effect of the keys to its characteristic floating appearance.
