After introducing limited crossplay between consoles in October last year, the new PUBG 6.2 update now allows PS4 and Xbox One players to be able to play on the same team, rather than just against each other.
The initial implementation of this system is still in the Beta phase and available to all players, however, only in matches that use the test servers. When entering the game, there is now a new option in the friends list, called “PUBG”, and your friends from other platforms will be there.
In addition, the game won Deathmatch mode, which puts two teams of eight players to face each other, as well as changes to the grenade balance and much more. If you want to check all the changes in patch 3.6, click here.
