Q1 19 results: THQ Nordic increases its revenues by 150% thanks to Metro and Satisfactory
THQ Nordic has presented its financial results for the first quarter of 2019.
The company made 1,630 million Swedish crowns (about 151 million euros), 158% more than during the first quarter of 2018. Profits were 395.9 million crowns, about 27.5 million euros. The two main assets of the company were Metro Exodus and Satisfactory.
The post-apocalyptic shooter from 4A Games has performed well as expected and has already recouped its costs. THQ Nordic has commissioned a new unannounced AAA game from the company.
Coffee Stain generated revenue of 98 million kronor (about 9 million euros). The launch of Satisfactory exceeded the company’s expectations.
THQ Nordic, Deep Silver and Coffee Stain have 80 active projects, of which 48 have yet to be announced.
