Insomniac about Spider-Man’s new Spider-Suit

The Guard takes it easy with Spider-Man and winds its way through the streets of New York. Calmly enjoy this digital Spidey and the thrashing of criminals, which results in him unlocking and trying out a number of suits. That white logo does not always adorn spider man’s chest, but one thing is certain; developer Insomniac is proud of it. So proud that a video has to be made about it, of course, and it is here for you. Includes a quick chat about the different suits you can unlock and what makes the Insomniac outfit so “new”.

Strangely enough, they do not go into the fact that Wouter does not have Insomniac’s suit in his top 10.

Ken Levine says sorry

Extra weird when he gets jumped and punctured by a horde of little girls.

Today is the Jewish day of atonement, it seems. So I’m here to apologize for the naked Atlas boss battle at the end of BioShock.

Does adjustment in Switch version Undertale indicate a new game or a secret?

Undetale has been playing on the Nintendo Switch for a few days now and as you might expect it is almost the same experience as the other versions. Still, there are a few nice additions, such as a secret room and a Joy-Con-friendly boss battle. To that we can add a recently discovered secret, one that may even hint at a new game (via Destructoid).

It’s a small piece of dialogue – uhh, actually a monologue – that was missing in the PC version of Undertale, for example. After completing the Switch version, the text is spoken by a ‘Clam Girl’, who the player also encounters in the normal game. The first time Clam Girl speaks, she talks about the daughter of her neighbor / husband, Suzy, with whom the player should befriend.

Unfortunately for the folks who scoured every pixel of Undertale for secrets, Suzy isn’t in the game. But that doesn’t mean we’ll never run into her. In fact, after knocking out the Switch version of Undertale, Clam Girl has something new to say. “But please don’t despair. Because the time that you will meet her… is fast approaching. ” – queue creepy gray filter:

Deoxys is coming to EX Raid Battles in Pokémon Go

If, like the Guard, you still don’t have Mewtwo in Pokémon Go because you won’t be invited to such a damn EX Raid, but you do need a new unreachable Pokémon, then there is good news. It was previously announced that Mewtwo will appear as ‘normal’ Raid Boss – really, was all in A Bag Full of Monsters – and to top it all off, Niantic is announcing in-game via a notification that the mythical monster Deoxys has his place in EX Raids. takes over.

THQ Nordic acquires Alone in The Dark and Act of War IPs

They are back at THQ Nordic! After purchasing Kingdoms of Amalur, the publisher also acquires the survival horror franchise Alone in the Dark, with the RTS Act of War as the icing on the cake. The Guard is hoping for a remake of the 1992 DOS game Alone in the Dark, or the Guinness World Recrods record holder, the ‘First Ever 3D Survival Horror Game’.

We are happy to announce that THQ Nordic has acquired the IPs for “Alone in the Dark”, a Lovecraftian survival horror game series and “Act of War”, a real-time strategy game featuring a story by NYT bestselling author Dale Brown, from Atari.

Bandai Namco teases latest Dragon Ball Fighterz DLC character Android 17

In a tweet from Bandai Namco, players of Dragon Ball Fighterz – who think it’s okay to pay a few euros for an extra character – are made nice with the arrival of Android 17. The tweeted photo shows a note that reads “Goten & Trunks, please take care of the animals while I’m away / -17 ”. This is a reference to what the android is up to in Dragon Ball Super, but Bandai Namco of course means that Android 17 is coming.

This is also evident from the V-Jump magazine (which you will find below), where Android 17 is presented together with a new arena. According to V-Jump, the latest DLC character will appear simultaneously with DLC character Cooler, which will be released on September 27. The costs are probably around five euros per character.

Castlevania: Requiem shows up on Korean ratings board

It looks like Konami is looking to re-release two Castlevania classics, this time on PS4. The bundle is called Castlevania: Requiem according to the Korean ratings board, and contains both PS One game Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and PC (Engine CD) title Castlevania: Rondo of Blood. With an IP like this one, of course, we quickly become afraid that it will not come to the West, but that also seems to be going well now. The ratings board also states that the games are published in English. When the bundle should be released is still a mystery, as well as what Requiem exactly entails. After all, it could be a ‘simple’ port of the classic games, only get a higher resolution or turn out to be a full-fledged remaster, but we will have to wait and see those details (via Bloody Disgusting).

Rockstar announces Red Dead Online

Rockstar announced tonight that Red Dead Redemption 2 will also get an online “experience” a la GTA Online, and the name is (against all odds) Red Dead Online. The online side of the game can be played for the first time in November 2018; unfortunately only in a (public) beta. Rockstar does this so that they have some time to polish the online functionalities and fix all connection problems, but the Guard expects that Red Dead Online will be officially released in December at least. This is what Rockstar has to say about it:

Red Dead Online is an evolution of the classic multiplayer experience in the original Red Dead Redemption, blending narrative with competitive and cooperative gameplay in fun new ways. Using the gameplay of the upcoming Red Dead Redemption 2 as a foundation, Red Dead Online will be ready to be explored alone or with friends, and will also feature constant updates and adjustments to grow and evolve this experience for all players.
