Red Dead Redemption 2 exceeds 31 million units sold

Take-Two has released its latest financial report updating the sales figures for its top games, and unsurprisingly one of its flagships, Red Dead Redemption 2, is in enviable health.

In the same report in which the company has announced that GTA 5, the black mamba of video games, has sold 10 million units in the last three months, Take-Two has announced that Red Dead Redemption 2 has already sold more than 31 million units.

That means around 5 million units were sold in the last quarter of 2019 and in the first quarter of 2020, impressive numbers within the reach of very few games.

According to Take-Two, Red Dead Online has contributed significantly to maintaining the lifespan of the game, which was released in October 2018. In the United States, Red Dead Redemption 2 is listed as the top-grossing game in the last four years.

In the same way as GTA 5, its online side broke user records in December 2019.
